Kim Kilback
My name is Kim Kilback; and am a Small Animal Massage Practitioner. I received my certification in Small Animal Massage in 2017, from Northwest School of Animal Massage in Portland Oregon.
My education provided me with hands-on experience at the Oregon Humane Society, where we provided massages on adoptable dogs who have gone through traumatic experiences. Our massage techniques used were focus on the behavioral aspects of animal massage. Additional to that, we were able to work on geriatric dogs that were experiencing aches and pains. There is an incredible bond that a person and animal can experience when using massage techniques.
Massage therapy for canines is beneficial because it aids in the circulation of fluids throughout the body which assists the joints and muscles flush toxins from the tissues. The results include reduced pain and stiffness, more flexibility and greater range of motion. Massage also increases blood flow, lowers blood pressure and improves cardiovascular health. Not only that, but your pup will more relaxed than ever.

Physical Ailments
Canine massage is great for a variety of ailments in dogs of all ages. Massage can alleviate pain in joints and muscles, increases the Immune System and reduces recovery time from injury. In addition, massage allows us to identify any problem areas by using physical touch.
Behaviors
Dogs are similar to humans in that they are able to feel stress and anxieties. What is great about canine massage is that it allows your dog to decompress in a safe space. Using massage techniques that are able to trigger areas of relaxation.
Why is Canine massage a right fit for you?
Canine massage has been used as a holistic approach for centuries in many countries. We believe that massage is a great way to add to your dogs preventative maintenance routine, or as a stand-alone service for stress and anxieties.
