Furriends Dog Training Classes at Central Bark
Maisie Lam from Furriends Dog walking and Training will be hosting Training Classes at Central Bark Doggy Daycare.
Furriends takes a force-free and reward-based approach with training. To us, this means we work at our dog's pace allowing them to have a choice, setting them up for success, and rewarding them when they make great decisions. By taking in consideration their internal state and motivations, we can boost their confidence and build a positive relationship with them!
We live in a world that is not natural for dogs. They are solely dependant on us and there are tremendous expectations for them to be well behaved in this urban environment. When we can view the world from our dog's perspective, we can appreciate their behaviours, better understand them, and see how our actions impact them. Furriends can teach you to train your dog to have life long skills in a way where they feel safe and everyone has fun!
