Teenage Furriends Classes - 4 week program

Saturday, June 1st, 2024 @ 12:00pm-12:45pm. - 4 week program every Saturday.

Cost: $200+Tax

Teenage Furriends classes are suitable for dogs between 6 - 12 months of age and have received their full set of vaccinations. These 45 minute classes will be held at Central Bark Doggy Daycare (2004 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturdays at 12pm. We will be focus on advancing the basic obedience skills taught in Puppy Classes and challenging ourselves and our dogs to learn calm behaviour. Completion of puppy classes is recommended but not required. Our goal with Teenage Furriends classes is to build life long skills for you and your dog!

Topics include:

  • Offered Attention, Positive association, Cooperative Care.

  • Place, Stay, Self Control, loose leash, leave, drop with distractions

  • Recall, Polite greetings and basic tricks.

What should I bring to class?

  • A leash (4-6ft, no flexi leashes) and a harness.

  • No pinch/prong collars, choke chains, e-collars, Martindale collars and clickers in class.

  • Lots of small treats. Bring more than you think you will need.

    General Notes:

  • All breed types are welcomed.

  • At least one handler must be 18 years or older. Families are welcomed to join the class with their pups.

  • Vaccinations required.

  • Non-refundable after registration. Classes will not be refunded if classes are missed by participant.

  • Max 6 students/class.

  • Registrations and waiver forms are completed through Furriends Dog Walking and Training.
